Natural Food Products frequently exhibit variation in:

- Seasonal Characteristics
- Color
- Particle Size
This prevents conventional or generic NIR moisture
meters from being used in measurement for control. NDC has
developed highly robust, application-specific measurements for
our MM710e NIR
On-Line Moisture Gauge (also available for fat and protein
measurement) and InfraLab
e-Series At-Line Food Analyzer which are unaffected by these
issues and our gauges are relied upon for the control of many foods
processing lines. While moisture
measurement is still the major need, we are able to handle many
other constituent measurements such as Fat, Oil
and Protein.
For baked products such as biscuits, crackers, cookies and snacks
we can also measure
Degree of Bake, or "brownness".
