The NDC 8110-BF System helps Blown Film manufacturers achieve
their thickness uniformity, product quality and
machine output objectives, all keys to more efficient production,
particularly when costly barrier materials are involved.
Application-appropriate sensor options provide the
measurement(s) as needed to properly monitor and manage the
process. The non-nuclear FG710S Infrared Film sensor, mounted after
the collapsers, can measure various critical components in barrier
film structures such as Nylon, EVOH, and sealant materials.
Up to four coextrusion components can be measured simultaneously.
Also available for total thickness measurement is NDC’s unique GBS
sensor, which can be mounted directly on a rotary scanner at the
bubble, or in a stationary position in the collapsing frame.
Designed on NDC's TDi (Total Distributed
Intelligence) system platform, the 8110-BF is rugged,
reliable and right for the job. Its easy-to-use operator interface
allows operators and engineers to access key production information
quickly and easily. With the addition of optional automated
control, users can see a reduction in thickness variation from 40%
to 60%, generating savings in production costs, increasing
profitability and improving product quality.
