measurement - ideal for heavier papers and delivering lower cost
installations, as a single beam scanner only is needed.
Beta Transmission Sensors deliver improved measurement
resolution for basis weight.
NIR Sensors are available in backscatter format for moisture and
coatings measurements, while the forward scatter (diffuse
transmission) moisture gauge is unique to NDC and overcomes the
issues associated with moisture stratification when measuring on
heavier paper or baords
