NDC offers a variety of measurement sensors to make the coat
weight measurement on an adhesive calender. Multi-scanner systems
can be employed for in-line processes where scrim and polyethyene
(either roll-fed or extruded) are fed to the calender. Where
possible, a direct coating measurement is made off the calender
roll; otherwise differential weight sensors can be used to
determine coat weight.
