Making Measurements in Leaf Processing (GLT and Stemmery)

The natural variations in the incoming leaf and the demands made by customers have created the need for high performance moisture measurement to achieve control during the threshing process.
Control of moisture improves threshing efficiency and reduces the quantity of lamina smalls produced.

Moisture content at the critical packaging stage is affected by earlier variation throughout threshing and re-drying processes.
In addition to continuous on-line moisture measurements with the TM710e, we can also provide temperature, nicotine and sugar.

For at-line or laboratory measurement, the InfraLab is available for moisture, nicotine or sugars measurement to analytical accuracy.

For whatever reasons you have to measure, NDC Infrared Engineering's applications engineering has resulted in the development of the most accurate on-line moisture measurement available for its TM710e On-Line Tobacco Gauge.

Where there is a need to test samples taken from the process, the InfraLab tobacco Analyzer provides rapid results (in under ten seconds) with minimal preparation.
