The innovative and unique single-sided GBS sensor is small enough
to easily fit in the calender stack and measure basis weight
directly on the roll. Combined with a full range of control
options, including side-to-side, tilt with speed, cross-axis and
roll bending, these sensors can be mounted in a multi-zone or
scanning configuration to provide fast feedback for optimum
material usage and minimum scrap.
Our nucleonic and x-ray sensors can be mounted before and
after coating / casting stations to provide excellent coat weight
measurement.
Our laser caliper sensor can measure final product thickness
with a high degree of accuracy, independent of product composition.
And our infrared sensors can accurately measure clear protective
coats on a wide variety of substrates.
