but typically the audit requires one or two days per
line. The comprehensive report will focus on:
- System Hardware Status and Functionality
- identify any repairs or preventive maintenance needed
- System Software and Operator Interfaces -
review operator interface set-up and on-screen information and file
management
- Operator Usage and stakeholder familiarity
with the system (process engineering and QC/QA depts) - identify
retraining required
- Sensor Performance - check status through
the use of known sample standards and list any corrective
actions
- Calibration Techniques - ensure that
these practices are appropriate and not inducing variation
into the process
- Control Tuning - (for systems with an
NDC-supplied control module) evaluate the effectiveness of the
