The NDC 8110-F System delivers an accurate, continuous and
reliable single-point basis weight, coating weight, moisture or
thickness measurement. Using an application-appropriate sensor as
chosen from NDC’s unique Gamma Backscatter (GBS), X-Ray
Fluorescence (XRF), or Near InfraRed (NIR) sensors, the 8110-F
system provides the measurement as needed to properly monitor and
manage the process.
Based on NDC's TDi (Total Distributed
Intelligence) system platform, the 8110-F is rugged,
reliable and right for the job. Its intuitive, easy-to-use
operator interface includes various displays to provide data as
needed for more efficient, higher quality production. The
TDi’s distributed design allows for multiple systems to be accessed
from a single location. Additionally, the simple, distributed
system architecture provides for easily implemented, cost-effective
upgrades to add scanning or control functionality as may be
applicable in the future.
