POLYMER FILM EXTRUSION Using NDC "TDi" scanning systems incorporating NIR and nucleonic sensors, we can measure and control the gauge thickness of single layer cast or extruded polymer films as well as mult-layer coextrusions and biax films for the plastic extrusions industry.

FOODS ANALYSIS Food products require continual measurement and testing in the process to ensure consumer loyalty by optimizing shelf-life and end-product quality. MM710e NIR Gauges can measure moisture, fat or protein either on-line in real-time, or the InfraLab can be used for off-line in grab samples.

CONVERTING: COATING AND LAMINATION THICKNESS Measuring the value added features of converted paper, plastic, foil and film products enables optimization of coating quality. NDC "TDi" Systems enable highly accurate coating weight and thickness measurements.

RUBBER CALENDERING CONTROL NDC's "TDi" [Total Distributed Intelligence] measurement and control systems for calendering processes, including tire manufacturing and other calendered rubber products use gamma,  X-ray, laser and beta gauges to provide basis weight and thickness measurement and control.

NONWOVENS MEASUREMENTS Measuring and controlling basis weight and moisture in nonwoven fabrics and textiles, including spunbond, airlaid and meltblown processes, can be achieved using an NDC "TDi" system and NDC's unique NIR and nucleonic gauges.

MEASUREMENTS IN PAPER MAKING In paper making, measuring moisture is a critical parameter, from the wire at the wet end, through drying, to final reel-up. NDC Systems provide paper mills with valuable insight into the quality achieved in their paper process.

MOISTURE IN CHEMICALS AND MINERALS The vast quantities of water involved in chemicals and minerals processing and drying can be optimized through in-process measurement using a CM710e Industrial Moisture Gauge System from NDC.
